Even though I don’t love myself, I accept that I have this belief.

Even though I struggle to love myself and I am not really sure why, I acknowledge that this is how I feel.

Even though I don’t know how to love myself, maybe I don’t know how to love anything or anyone, I choose to accept all of my feelings.  Maybe I will never be able to love myself or anything without conditions attached.  I accept this about myself and I am also open to choosing love.  I want to know how to love myself.  I am ready to begin to learn how to love and accept myself unconditionally. 

Even though I don’t feel worthy or deserving of love, never mind a love without conditions attached, I accept this about myself.  From his moment forward, I choose to believe that I am worthy of unconditional love.  I am finally ready to have an abundance of love in my life and I am open to receiving love in all forms, however it comes to me.  

Even though I am repeating the words that I accept myself, I know the truth is I really don’t.  I have done things that are unforgivable.  I am angry and ashamed and don’t think I can accept myself enough to ever truly love myself.  I don’t think anyone else could possible love me unconditionally either.  Even though I feel all of these negative emotions about love, I am open to allowing a new perspective of love into my experience.  I am open to leaning how to love and accept myself just as I am.  

Even though I was not loved as a child the way I was supposed to be, I deeply and completely accept this about my past.  I am ready to release these old beliefs.  I choose to love myself now. 

Even though the thought of actually being able to love myself unconditionally seems impossible, I accept these feelings.  I am open to loving myself a little bit more all the time.  I choose to ease into fully loving myself.  

Even though there is a big part of me that wants to give up on loving myself unconditionally, maybe it’s possible for other people but not me, there is another part of me that believes in my worthiness.  There is another part of me that is curious to see if I can truly love myself fully and completely.

UA: All of this unworthiness inside of me.

EB: I don’t know how to love properly.

SE: I can’t seem to escape this thought.

UE: I think it over and over and over again.  

UN: Maybe unconditional love is for other people and not me.  

Ch: Maybe I should just give up on feeling this kind of love in my life.  

CB: I want to give up on love.  

UA: I don’t want to give up on love.  

TOH: I want to give up on love.  

EB: I don’t want to give up on love.  

SE: I really don’t want to give up on love.  

UE: I really want to know pure love and acceptance of myself and others.  

UN: How can I love others if I don’t love myself?

Ch: Maybe I’ll just never know.  

CB: Maybe I should forget about it.  

Ch: There is something wrong with me.  

UA: There is so much evidence in my life that there is something wrong with me.  

TOH: All of this evidence that I am unloveable.  

EB: It’s probably because I never learned how to love.

SE: Nobody showed me unconditional love. 

UE: I wasn’t even worthy of being taught how to love.  

UN: I don’t know how to love.  

Ch: I don’t know what love is.

CB: This feeling is so oppressive.  

UA: This feeling is really weighing me down.  

TOH: It makes me want to push people away.  

EB: It makes me want to run away.  

SE: It makes me want to shut down.

UN: It is better for me to be unloved.  

Ch: It is safer for me to push people away.  

CB: I can’t trust my ability to love.  

UA: I don’t know what love is.  

TOH: I don’t know what unconditional love is.  

EB: I never learned how to love.   

SE: No one ever taught me what unconditional love is.

UE: No wonder I have no idea how to love myself.    

UN: No wonder I feel so alone.

UA: All of this fear in my body.

EB: I hate this feeling.  

SE: This feeling of darkness and weight.

Ch: I feel it in my chest.  

CB: Sometimes it hurts to breathe.  

UA: All of this pain in my body.  

TOH: All of these toxic beliefs in my body.  

EB: I feel this pain in my chest.  

SE: This feeling of hate in my body.  

UE: This fear of not being good enough for love.  

UN: I don’t think I will ever be worthy of love.  

Ch: I don’t think I can handle it.

CB: How can I ever love myself?

UA: I have done _________________.

EB: There is no way that I am loveable.  

SE: There is no way that I will ever be able to accept this about myself.  

UE: I can’t accept myself.
